Lower Common

Kindergarten

The full-day kindergarten curriculum is a carefully planned sequence of activities which builds language and reading skills, number concepts, and a basis for science and social studies. Language and reading skills are developed through the use of beginning and ending sound recognition and sight word vocabulary. French, Art, Computers and Physical Education are taught on a weekly basis.

The development of the whole child is important in kindergarten. Children are encouraged to explore in an environment that fosters their individual development socially, emotionally and physically.
