Lunch statements are emailed to parents at the end of each month so that accounts will remain up to date.

After Care Program

The Melrose School offers an extended day for students who require after school care. The program begins at 3:15pm and ends at 5:30pm and is available to students in the PK4 through Grade 8. Pre-K 3 students are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Each day, students receive a snack, participate in art activities, and weather permitting go outside to play. The cost is $10.00 per hour and can be paid daily or weekly.

Homework Club

Homework Club is offered to students in grades 4 – 8 and provides students with a place to begin nightly homework assignments. This program begins at 3:15pm and ends at 4:30pm. Students then have the option to join the After Care program or return home. The cost is $10.00 per hour.

Financial Aid

The Melrose School awards financial grants on the basis of need. The School uses the services of the School and Students Service for Financial Aid (SSS). SSS is an organization that provides schools with an analysis of your family’s finances and suggests your contribution for educational expenses. Families wishing to apply for financial aid complete a Parent Financial Statement with SSS at a cost of $35.00. This fee is paid directly to SSS. We subscribe to the principles of SSS and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, or ethnicity. We will do our best to meet documented need, but our own Financial Aid budget may dictate flexibility. Please note both prospective and returning families must make applications for financial aid every year.

Supporting the School

The Annual Fund is the cornerstone of fundraising at The Melrose School, as it helps provide the dollars needed to meet the day-to-day expenses of running the School. The enthusiastic support of the Melrose School community enables us to maintain low student/teacher ratios, enhance our challenging and dynamic curriculum, and continue to improve our building and grounds. The Campaign closes on June 30th of each year.

Throughout the year, we hold various fundraising events to support the School. The two biggest events are The Melrose Spring Gala and Silent Auction and the Red Knight Open Golf Outing and.
