Melstock 2008
Please join us on Saturday October 4th at 3:00pm for an afternoon of terrific music brought to you by our own Bob Stanhope and his band “Cross Purpose.” Bring a blanket, a chair and a picnic and enjoy some terrific music.
Cross Purpose is a four-piece rock and blues band formed in 2005. They play a variety of styles that range from straight ahead rock to high energy ballads to even 12 bar blues. Their sound relies on a very solid rhythmic foundation that might remind listeners of ZZ Top, The Byrds, and Dave Mason.
Bizzy Bender will join Cross Purpose this year. As catchy as her name is, her voice is equally catchy – her music is a powerful and energetic blend of pop, rock, jazz and folk.
