Annual Red and White Game
Last Thursday was the annual red-white game. If you are a student, then maybe you are a little disappointed about the parent’s big day. But remember, this was for fun. In the first game of the afternoon, the red team played against the white team. The red team was able to come out on top 4-0. In the second game the red team played against the parents. This was a nail biter. It came down to the end. But, the parents eventually won in the closing minutes, 1-0. Then the white team played the parents. This was also close and at the end it got a little wacky. All of a sudden, everyone ran on the field. All of the players!! Shockingly, the students (all 30 of them) were not able to score one goal. There is always next year, right?
All season long, you have seen me taking pictures on the sideline, and writing these articles. It has been amazing for me. And, in this red- white game, I had the privilege of playing on the field. And, I am happy to say that you can see me playing on the field for Coach Marsek next year. Although it is sad that this will be my last article of the year, this was truly a great season, and a great experience for me.
