Mother and Son Breakfast Full of Surprises
On Saturday November 17th, The Melrose School Parent Guild hosted the 2nd annual Mother/Son Breakfast. As usual, Judy Bartholomew did an outstanding job with the buffet. She offered everything from eggs, sausage and bacon to fresh fruit and baked goods. No one left hungry.
The entertainment, provided by Mr. Blake, Mr. Burns and Mr. Simmons, was a mother and son version of the famous Newlywed Game. All mothers and sons were asked to answer 5 questions and reveal the answers on stage to determine if there were any matches. There was no shortage of laughter, hugs, surprises and photo ops!
The breakfast culminated with each boy delivering a beautiful rose to
their mother. Everyone left with a full stomach and a smile of their
face. What a great start to the weekend!
