Students Dance the Night Away at the Daughter/Escort Dance
On Friday, February 8th, Melrose students were truly able to dance under the stars at this year’s Daughter/Escort Dance. The theme of “Dancing with the Stars” meant that the Melrose gymnasium was transformed into a paradise of silver and gold glittered stars and pictures of movie stars everywhere. There were large screen projections on the gym walls, and colored lights to really help set the mood.
The girls came ready to dance, and looked great with their escorts. Each attendee had their picture taken and took a copy home to commemorate the evening. The night was rounded out with a full catered dinner, flowers and great music by DJ Dylan Lovett, a Melrose grad.
