Summer Camp Fees and Schedule
Summer @ Melrose 2008 Information Letter
Greetings! We are looking forward to spending this time of discovery, exploration, and excitement with your child. We would like to take this opportunity to familiarize you with our camp program and provide you with some information that should make your child’s camp experience a special one.
Camp Schedule:
* Camp begins on Wednesday, June 18th through Friday, July 18th, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
* We will be closed on Friday, July 4th, in observance of the national holiday.
* Your child will be attending a variety of classes throughout the day. These will include: Creative Writing, Drama, Spanish, and Arts and Crafts.
2008 Camp Tuition:
- Junior Camp: $250.00 for 5 full days; $175 for 5 half days (w/ 3 day minimum)
- Senior Camp: $250.00 for 5 full days; $175 for 5 half days
- Weeks 1 and 3 will be prorated for the shortened week.
Camp Check-In & Drop-Off:
* Please be advised that morning check-in and afternoon drop-off will be located in the front parking lot only.
* This will ensure that we are able to properly attend to your child.
Extended Hours:
* For those parents who need longer hours, we offer Before Care, beginning at 8:00 a.m., and After Care until 5:00 p.m.
* There is an additional fee of $8.00 an hour, per child.
* Please inform the Camp Director if you are interested, at least one day before.
* Payment can be made daily, by need, or weekly directly to the After Care Supervisor.
* Please provide your child an extra snack and drink, should he/she be attending after care.
Things to Bring: Please label all items!
* Medical Forms – especially if not already on file at school. (If needed, please contact Camp Director.)
* Sneakers or closed toe shoes
* Sunscreen – please apply to your child prior to arrival.
* Sweatshirt or light jacket
* Bagged lunch (will be refrigerated daily)
* Due to many food allergies, please also include a morning snack.
* Bottled water
* Small backpack to carry all items
* Smock (for arts and crafts)
For Our Junior Campers
* In addition to the items mentioned above, please bring a change of clothing.
* If attending half-day sessions, no lunch is needed; but please still bring in a snack.
Payment, in full, is due on your child’s first day of camp.

Typical Camp Day
Please feel free to look over the following sample schedule. Class times may change from day to day.
- 9:00 – 10:30 Creative Writing
- 10:30 – 12:00 Drama
- 12:00 – 1:00 LUNCH/RECESS
- 1:00 – 2:30 Spanish
- 2:30 – 3:00 Activity Period (Arts & Crafts, Movie Time, etc.)
AM Campers will be dismissed at noon, while
PM Campers will arrive at noon.
